1. Our approach

The public navigation code can use first-party sessionStorage for campaign tags and entry paths. Account sign-in uses session mechanisms on the account service. Browser storage and cookies are different technologies; neither is used by the local file checker to upload file contents.

2. Analytics — cookieless

Some public pages include Cloudflare Web Analytics. The local checker and CSV-estimator pages omit the third-party analytics script. The estimator sends file-shape metadata only after the user selects files; it does not send signal values or filenames.

3. Strictly-necessary cookie

The customer account uses a session cookie to maintain sign-in. Authentication may also involve the identity provider’s session mechanisms. Blocking these mechanisms can prevent sign-in; the public local file check does not require an account session.

4. Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The public site works without any cookies; blocking the session cookie will prevent you from staying signed in to the account area.
