These terms govern your use of nlsys.io and the nlsys products. They are written to match how the products actually work today: free access programs, self-service, fixed-fee pilots, and enterprise contracts.

By using this site, using free access, purchasing via our checkout, or submitting data to our products, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or the organisation you represent. Where a separate written agreement (a pilot scope or an enterprise contract) exists, that agreement prevails over these terms.
Free access programs (free tier and early-access surfaces) are provided free, "as is", for evaluation; features, limits and availability may change or end, and free-tier results are not a promise of production behaviour. NDC self-service preview lets you upload your own data and receive a compiled artifact, a Nonlinearity Passport and a free-run report, with limited export. Pilots are a fixed-fee, written-scope engagement per dataset or project. Enterprise deployments run under their own contract.
Paid subscriptions include a monthly credit allowance, shown in your account. Usage beyond the allowance draws on prepaid credit packs; we do not auto-charge your payment method for usage. The allowance is a usage capacity, not an obligation: unused allowance simply expires at the end of the billing period and is not carried over or refunded. A subscription grants access to the layer for the billing period; the included allowance is processing volume for new data. If the allowance is used before the period ends, your access and already-processed results remain available for the rest of the period; processing of new data pauses until you top up with a pack. Additional volume is purchased as packs; a second subscription to the same layer is neither required nor sold. Subscriptions renew automatically via the payment provider and can be cancelled at any time in the billing portal.
Payments are processed by our payment providers — Stripe, Paddle, or Lemon Squeezy; the provider, prices, taxes and the exact package are shown at checkout before you pay. For a pilot purchased online, we first verify on a small data sample that your case is feasible and within our civil-use scope; if it is not, we refund the payment in full. The billing portal (sign-in by email and a one-time passcode) lets you see your payments and invoices and manage your payment method and subscriptions. Usage-based charges, where applicable, are metered per the unit named at purchase.
Immediate digital supply. By completing a purchase you request immediate supply of the digital service and acknowledge that, once access or delivery begins, you lose the 14-day cancellation right that consumers otherwise have under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This does not affect the pilot refund described above. Paid subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled as described in Section 8.
We may suspend or terminate access, without prior notice, where we reasonably suspect use for non-civil purposes or another breach of these terms; prepaid, unused credit packs are refunded in such cases unless the breach is proven.
The products are for civil and scientific applications. You must not use them for safety-critical closed-loop control, autonomous actuation, military, targeting or surveillance applications, RF/radar/antenna optimization, or certified medical use. Nothing here is offered as a safety-certified controller. We may refuse or terminate service that violates this section, refunding any unused prepaid fees.
Your data stays yours: signal streams, trajectories and any datasets you submit remain your property; you grant us the rights needed to process them solely to provide the service. Compiled artifacts you purchase come with a licence to use them per your plan (the self-service preview includes limited export; pilots include full export as scoped). The platform, its engine, code, models of operation, documentation and branding remain ours. Neither side acquires the other's pre-existing intellectual property.
Benchmark figures published on this site are representative results on canonical test material, produced under the protocol on our methodology page — they are not field results and not a warranty of performance on your data. The way to know is to test on your data, which is exactly what the free access, self-service and pilot paths are for.
Free services are provided without warranty of any kind. Paid services are provided with reasonable skill and care. To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total aggregate liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You can stop using the services at any time; subscriptions can be cancelled in the billing portal and run to the end of the paid period. We can suspend or terminate for breach of these terms (including Section 4) — with a full refund of unused prepaid fees where the breach is ours, not yours. We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date, and for paying customers also sent by email.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction — without depriving consumers of mandatory protections of their home country where those apply.
