Plans, credits, pauses, devices, cancellation — the short honest answers. Anything else: nlsys.io@proton.me, we reply within one business day.
A subscription buys access to a layer for the month — the surfaces, the cabinet, and everything already processed. It includes a monthly processing-volume allowance for new data. Access and volume are two different things, on purpose.
No. Your access, dashboards, events, graphs and all already-processed history stay live until the end of the billing period. Only the processing of new data pauses. A top-up pack resumes the stream instantly.
Never. One subscription per layer; extra volume always comes from top-up packs. A second subscription to the same layer is neither required nor sold.
No. Packs never expire and are never auto-charged: you buy one only when you click. Usage draws from your plan allowance first, then from packs.
Your sender gets a clear 402 response and can simply re-send after top-up — duplicates are ignored (dedup by channel + timestamp), so retries are safe.
Yes. The allowance is processing volume: fewer channels or lower sample rates spend it slower. You control the burn.
The allowance is a usage capacity, not an obligation. Unused volume simply expires at the end of the period; it is not carried over or refunded. You never have to use it.
You keep access until the end of the paid period. Packs you bought remain yours — they never expire and spend within whatever access you have (free tier or a layer). Cancel any time in the billing portal; renewal is automatic until you do.
Yes. Your cabinet shows a percentage gauge per subscription and displays warnings at 15% and at 0% — with a one-click path to top up.
In the billing portal (button "Manage billing" in your cabinet). Payments are handled by our merchant of record; card details never touch our servers.
Anything that can make an HTTPS POST with JSON: PLCs and gateways, edge boxes, a Raspberry Pi next to a lab rig, DAQ systems, SCADA/historian exports, MQTT bridges — or just a CSV upload for offline-grade runs. Typical fits: battery and R&D test benches (cell voltage/current/temperature), pumps, compressors and motors (current, pressure; vibration via windowed upload), process and climate signals at 1 Hz and below, power metering, server metrics. Per-channel streaming up to ~15 kHz on Filtration; faster signals go in buffered windows.
Trying is free: 5 channels, a full month, no card. Paid pricing is volume-based: slow always-on sensors are cheap, fast ones spend more; a plan allowance covers a typical small rig for the month, and exact rates are being calibrated during the founding period. Compare with hiring signal-processing time or per-sensor monitoring tools — the free tier lets you check the value on your own signals before paying anything.
Sign in — your cabinet shows your personal stream key, the endpoint and a ready curl command. Send one JSON point and the cleaned stream starts flowing. Five channels are on us.
Yes — civil and scientific applications only. No safety-critical closed loops, autonomous actuation, military, targeting or surveillance use; details in the Terms, section 4. We may suspend access on reasonable suspicion, refunding unused prepaid packs unless the breach is proven.
